Many times we get caught up in the day to day of the online world. Easy to feel like we got something accomplished with little results. I do believe that many people are doing very well in networking online. Lets never forget the benefits of the Face to Face networking that should be done.

About 8 months ago I started attending some local networking groups here in town. I usually attend 1 or 2 on a regular basis. Over the past 8 months, i have created some great relationships and actually have picked up some business along the way.

Networking either online or offline should be about giving to others! When you keep this first and foremost you will find some of the GREATEST People you can ever meet. Business will find you!

What is a Tribe?

The concept of a Tribe is almost as old as time.  I can remember a t least 2 times that a Tribe has played a role in my life.

First, lets answer the question of “What is a Tribe”?

In its basic form, A tribe is a group of people working toward achieving similar results.  This could be in the same business or it could be as simple as working together to build each other.  When a Tribe is functioning at its peak, all members of a Tribe are giving to and receiving from each other.  Since joining the Mastermind 2.0 Tribe in February, I have learned a tremendous amount from the people in the Tribe.

The First time that I can remember an influence in my life was when I started in the Insurance business.  We called it a “UNIT”, but the concept of a Tribe was there.

The Second time is NOW.  Read my other post entitled “Your Role In A Tribe“.

Boy, we could really go a long way with this.

First let me say that this is the FIRST Blog post I have really ever made. I have never been one to write much.

Re: # 1. I see the “Tribe” as a group of people all working together to enhance each others efforts by helping each other grow in knowledge. Kinda like the way a Single Strand of rope is weak but intermingle with others it becomes strong.

Re: # 2. Role of a member is help others and by helping others you in turn will grow. You can’t help but grow and be blessed if you are helping others reach their goals.

Re: # 3. Purpose is to grow stronger in numbers and strengthen everyone as we become one. A Focused Tribe can become Strong and accomplish much. Just a few notes for thought!  Please share your thoughts and help me expand my minds to this WHOLE new journey we are about to embark.

What a great night to start working with the TRIBE!  Most important thing I learned tonight is Cordless Headset goes back tomorrow!  50 minutes into the call it goes dead.  Can’t have that happen again.
