Does setting proper goals equal success?
First lets define what is a Proper Goal. A goal can be described a something you desire or wish to have. Or is that a Dream? How about defining a Goal as something you’re working toward that you feel will give you some type of fulfillment in your life.
The realty is that a “Goal” is truly something that makes you reach a little further out there, strive to bring something about in your life that isn’t presently there. Would this be a good definition for you.
What is the true success with setting a goal. Successful Goal setting is a Goal that you list or WRITE down in a positive manner. Let me explain. Lets say you want a new Car!
- What Make
- What Color
- What Year
- When do you get it.
Now lets look at it in the PROPER format.
“I enjoy riding around in my 2010 Black Chevy Silverado Pickup that I purchased in December of 2010.” This would give you the proper parameters of a Successful Goal!
Here is a short video of a couple of Goals I have set in the past and how I obtained them. Hope you enjoy!
What goals have you set? Are you looking at them on a regular basis? Are they written in the Proper Format?
If not, pull them out and rewrite them in a Affirmative Way. This will help you feel and visualize them.
Make you day a Positive one!

I like Bill your approaching your goals in the right way. I should use my treadmill for something other than a clothes hanger. Talk to you tonight.

Nelson,
There was a time that my First Treadmill was used as a clothes hanger. This time my wife is the true inspiration. You should walk a little daily on it. You would be amazed at the benefits you will receive.

Bill, I like this. Creating positive, realtime affirmations out of your goals really sends the correct vibrations to the Universe to bring into your life that which you desire.
Thanks for sharing this Bill,

Val,
Thank you for your comments. Sometimes we set goals in the wrong wording. They simply read like a wish!
