15 Months ago I started my online Networking Adventure. It has been an amazing ride thus far! I have made some GREAT Friendships and learned a lot from the Empowered Tribe. I do have to admit tho, there are times that it can get all away from you.
Sometimes I feel that I haven’t been able to keep up. Posting more than every other week and sometime only once a month. I’m sure that many of you have felt the same frustrations. That is the reason for this post!
“Networking made easy”
What is your secret?
Please share with everyone how you handle the day to day, week to week doing your online adventure!

My secret is establishing and staying true to my priorities – we all have the same number of hours each day – it’s how you chose to use that time that makes a difference. I post fresh content on my blog 3 times a week because that’s one of my priorities. I review my goals daily and make sure my activities for the day support achieving those goals. It just depends on your ultimate goal.

I know you Bill, and you have a lot to say. You have the knowledge to share. Just do it! I hit a bump in the road recently, and was off line for a while. But I was teaching off line people the How To’s in their businesses. The cash was good, but kept me off point on my blogging. Just do it Bill. Share your thoughts no matter how small the post.
It does get frustrating some times, but if you share little bit of your knowledge you will still be in the game. Meanwhile, work on compiling a list. Without one, we get no where. Our credibility is our home base: our blog.
I see on Facebook you have many words of wisdom. Just turn that into a post! Elaborate on it and you will do fine.
Blessings,
Donna

Hi Bill… Networking made easy sounds a great header and I’m happy that I came over here. When I started in this industry everything looked so overwhelming (and sometimes it is still), but I was made aware of it right from the beginning from my mentors. What helped me a lot is the priority list. Something built on a constand basis (best daily) to build substance and content online… If you are invisible no one will be aware of you. Hope this can assist you and the readers. Thx and all the best, Alex

Hi Bill
I am sort of in the same sentiments as you. I am also new with TSA and I only manage to write 1 post each fortnight. I plan to make it 1 every week.
I suppose to stay on top of it all we have to be persistent and stay focused.

Irene it is a struggle at time unless you really schedule the time weekly to do so. I have come and gone because I do allow other things to capture more of my time.

Hello Bill,
I feel you on this one. It can get a little overwhelming at times.
That thing called life can sometimes get in the way.
I think people are more understanding than we might give them credit for, being that many find themselves in the same situation from time to time also.
I have come across blogs where the blog owner hasn’t posted in 6 months or longer.
Now that’s a run away train, lOL.
Hang on in there buddy.
Cheers

Hey Bill,
consistency is key! The more you update your blog and share that content, the more times your posts end up on others news feeds. Once you show up more, people become more familiar with your blog and will frequent it

Hey Bill
I know what you mean! It’s completely time consuming! I think it boils down to sticking to the revenue producing activities as your primary focus. These are talking to people and making transactions, or production of any kind. Then, blogging and syndicating can be done in short blocks of time that you set aside in your schedule. I have done this and it’s made a big difference for me.

Laura,
Thank you for your words of wisdom here. We can be overtaken by work that may not be Money Makers but non the less it’s work we still need to do.

For me it is all about having to do lists and sticking to them. I try to avid things like e-mail or sitting on Facebook reading peoples posts until I have got some productive work done.

Hi Bill,
With all of the information coming at us all of the time, you are right, it is difficult to set priorities and stick to them. I, too, have had a tough time doing all of the requirements of some memberships and undertakings. Sometimes it is pressure, and sometimes I have to get away from too many tasks and figure out what I can do for the time being.
I, too, have enjoyed getting to learn more about a lot of my contacts, and each of them has offered great information that I can learn and grow with.
We are blessed, my friend. Linda

I totally hear you Bill,
I have gone through times of having large projects going on which makes it more difficult to update my blog, but I agree with the other commenters, consistency is the key. Even if you set aside 10 minutes a day to develop ideas and develop them into blog posts, it adds up and make it easier.

Bill,
this is the test of starting you business. Now, you will feel the burn and the non-energy at times. Why did you start this business. Is this based on what you call your passion, hunger or desire. That is what your business should be based on. Then you monetize it.
It is a pleasure to met you and wish you all the best.

I am new to networking and like you I also seek for ways to make it easy. I have a lot of friends who had talents in money spinning in networking. The only thing they told me about their secret is “Know your prospects and reach out to them”. I think it works somehow!
